We are currently accepting new students for school enrollment and are excited to welcome families who are seeking a Christ-centered education. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing an enriching environment where students can thrive academically and spiritually.

Ready to start the application process? 

The following steps are for NEW applicants:


  1. Print, complete, and return the supplemental forms. We cannot accept electronic signatures on these forms. You can return these completed forms to Faith West using any of the following methods:
    - Scan and save to your desktop, then attach to the online application under the ‘Documents’ tab
    - Scan and email to admissions@faithwest.org
    - Fax to 281-391-2606, Attn: Admissions
    - Direct delivery to FWA’s Admissions Office 

  2. Complete and submit the online application

  3. Assessment (we will contact you to schedule once application is complete)


  4. Pay application fees. 

  • Preschool registration fee is $250 
  • Fees must be received before applications is considered active


   5. Completion: The application process may take 30 days or longer to complete 

REGISTRATION POLICIES

Faith West Academy does adhere to certain registration policies. 


1. The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

2. Preschool registration is $250 per student. 

4. Each family must pay the appropriate fees before the Registrar will begin to process the paperwork for enrollment. 

5. To offer our currently enrolled families a better chance at a limited number of classroom seats, FWA holds a re-enrollment period from February 1 until February 15. After February 15, remaining classroom seats are opened to prospective new students. 

6. FWA has a Selective Admissions Policy. All of the applications will be assessed, and remaining classroom seats will be allotted at the FWA administration’s discretion. 

  • 7. Factors affecting FWA admission include:

    • Appropriate match of the student’s needs and FWA’s ability to meet those needs.
    • Former enrollment at FWA or siblings enrolled at FWA.
    • Academic performance as indicated on report cards, transcripts and testing results.
    • Conduct performance as indicated on report cards and transcripts.
    • Cooperation, attitude, and effort as indicated on report cards and transcripts.
    • Information gleaned from interviews with the student and parents.
    • Information gleaned from the application and recommendations.

WITHDRAWAL POLICIES

Faith West Academy does adhere to certain withdrawal policies. 


1. All withdrawals must be made by contacting the Registrar’s office. 

2. Parents remain responsible for the complete month’s tuition after the first day of that month. 

3. All outstanding fees must be paid in full and school-owned devices must be returned before FWA can release any student records.

DISCOUNTS

  • Sibling discount $1000.00 for the second and subsequent children enrolled per family (kindergarten through 12th grade). 
  • $150.00 per child discount if tuition is paid in full by June 1. 
  • $50.00 per child discount if tuition is paid in full by June 1 and December 1. 
  • Alumni discount 15%

REFERRAL FEES

A $1000.00 referral fee will be issued in the form of tuition credit to any family that refers a new family. The new family must pay full tuition for the entire year, including during school enrollment. After the first three full months (September-November), you will be issued a credit for $500.00 to your December tuition. After the second semester (January-April), you will be issued a $500.00 credit to May's tuition. The new student must stay enrolled for the second semester for you to receive credit in May. If you are issued more than $600.00 in a year's time, you will receive a 1099.

Included in Student Tuition:


  • Books and curriculum, yearbook, technology/device*, digital resources, retreats (secondary students), field trip t-shirts (elementary students), and other classroom materials essential to the education of the student. 
  • * 5th-12th - the assigned device is school owned and school managed, and it must be returned at the end of the school year. Grades K-4 have assigned iPads and/or devices in the classroom.


NOT INCLUDED

Not Included in Student Tuition:


  • School supplies, school pictures, field trips, commencement, prom, etc.
  • Gifted and Talented Program: $150 annual fee
  • Elementary Learning Lab: $120/monthly per subject
  • Additional costs associated with certain activities

EXTENDED CARE

Faith West Academy is pleased to offer extended care to enrolled students only. Care is available until 6:00 pm on regular school days.


Extended care is not available on school holidays, school cancellation days, early dismissal days or days when your student does not attend school. Space is limited, so register early. 


Extended Care Fees:

  • Registration Fee: $25 per child
  • Three-day/week after school care from 2:45 – 6:00 p.m. $165 per month
  • Five-day/week after school care from 2:45 – 6:00 p.m. $275 per month
  • Charges for pick-up at 6:01 p.m. - $15.00
  • $5.00 per minute thereafter

Drop-in Care

  • Available from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. daily
  • Cost: $25.00 up to one hour
  • $12.50 for each additional 30-minute increment
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • What ages do you accept, and what is the cutoff for age eligibility?

    We accept children ages 2 through 5 by September 1, including our Bridge Program (age 5).

  • What program options do you offer?

    We offer two options:

    • Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM (includes extended care and pizza on Friday)
    • Part-Time: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM
  • What time is drop-off and pick-up? Is there a grace period?

    • Drop-off: 8:00 – 8:15 AM
    • Late arrival may be approved for doctor appointments, as long as your child arrives before

    lunch.

     Pick-up: 2:45 - 3:00 PM

  • Do you offer before care and after care?

    Yes. 

    • Before Care: 7:15 – 8:00 AM - $90.00 per month
    • After Care: 2:45 – 6:00 PM - $275.00 per month
  • Is your program play-based, academic, or faith-based?

    FWA’s primary purpose in sending the Transcript Request Form is to get a copy of your child’s official transcript and all discipline records. When parents submit the academic and medical records with their application, it greatly speeds up the enrollment process.

  • When does registration open?

    • Reenrollment for current families: February 1
    • Open enrollment for new families: February 15
  • Is registration first-come, first-served, or lottery-based?

    Registration is first-come, first-served

  • What do I need to complete registration?

    • Current Families: Complete the re-enrollment forms sent through Brightwheel, submit updated

    immunization records, and pay the $250 registration fee.

    • New Families: Complete the admissions packet in Brightwheel, submit updated immunization

    records and a Statement of Health from your child’s doctor, and pay the $250 registration fee.

  • Can I tour before registering?

    Yes, we would love to schedule a tour with you.

  • How will I know my child is officially enrolled?

    Our admissions team will contact you once all required paperwork and fees have been received to

    confirm your enrollment status

  • What immunizations/health forms are required?

    We require updated immunization records showing the recommended vaccines, including:

    • DTaP (Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis)
    • Polio (IPV)
    • Hepatitis B
    • Hib
    • Pneumococcal (PCV)
    • MMR
    • Varicella
    • Hepatitis A
  • Do you require a physical exam form?

    We require a signed Statement of Health from your child’s doctor.

  • What if my child is on a delayed vaccine schedule or has an exemption?

    • Delayed schedule: We require a signed note from your child’s doctor
    • Exemption: We require an original notarized Affidavit of Exemption for school/childcare immunizations from Texas Health and Human Services
  • Do you need a copy of a birth certificate?

    Yes.

  • What custody/legal documents do you need (if applicable)?

    Please provide any court orders or custody-related documents. If we do not have legal documentation

    on file, we must assume both parents have equal rights and access.

  • Are emergency contacts required to be local?

    Yes. We require at least one local emergency contact who is not a parent, in case we cannot reach a parent quickly.
