7th and 8th Grade Dance: The Junior Class once again is sponsoring a dance for the 7th and 8th grade FWA students on Friday, March 12, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. No non-FWA guests, please. The theme is Retro/70's. Wear blue jeans and a retro or 70's themed shirt.
Upcoming Parent Meetings: These meetings are to answer any questions you might have regarding your child’s transition into their next grade level. Meetings will be held in the Youth Room.

Lady Eagles defeated at Final Four :( The Lady Eagles lost to Carrollton Prince of Peace on Friday, February 26, ending their quest for State. We are proud of how far our Varsity Basketball team went! Game well played Lady Eagles!

Congratulations to the Kindergarten Classes! They have been awarded a grant for a field trip to the Oil Ranch from Target’s “one-of -a-kind, innovative Target Field Trip Grants program!” The grant will cover the costs of transportation, admission, and books to enhance the social studies and science curriculum for the kindergarten classrooms. Kindergarten classes are scheduled to visit the Oil Ranch on March 5.
Annual Auction: We are still accepting donations for the Annual Auction, which will be held on April 24 at 6:00 p.m. If you can't think of a donation item, maybe you can provide the items for a gift basket or supply us with the name of a friend who can provide an eye-popping item, such as a sleep-over at the zoo or a hot air balloon ride over Katy. CONGRATULATIONS Eagle Swimmers! This past weekend, the varsity swim team competed in the TAPPS State Meet. The girls team placed 4th in the state and the boys team won the State Championship by one point! A total of 16 teams were competing. more...
BP Energy Education Program Grant: Faith West received a $10,000 grant in 2008 from the BP Energy Education Program for the express purpose of teaching about energy. During the 2009-2010 school year, the grant project allowed 5th grade students to research recycling and energy issues. We are proud to present their powerpoint presentations.
