The mission statement of the Faith West Athletics is to provide a dynamic environment which promotes competitiveness, teamwork, and self discipline.  Our goal is to build Christ-like character and good sportsmanship which will become lifelong traits.
Faith West Athletics is an important part of student life and will help to foster Christian fundamentals. Our philosophy of sports is that it enhances a student’s academic efforts by providing them with physical activity on a competitive level. At Faith West, we strive to prepare our student athletes mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This philosophy is not just for the athletic field, but for life as well. We want our players to become strong Christian young men and women, and we encourage this beginning at our strong junior high program all the way through our high school program. This is accomplished in 4 ways:

1. Mentally, which includes chalk talks, film sessions, and conditioning which helps them focus on the mental part of the game.

2. Physically, our players are offered offseason weight training workouts, summer weight training programs, and we continue to lift during the season. These practice sessions are all prepared by a certified strength coach.

3. Emotionally, our coaching staff is always available to encourage and support our student athletes.

4. Spiritually, we have weekly devotions, and we continually prepare our kids on how to deal with adversity through guidance by the Lord.

Our junior high program begins in 6th grade and works to develop our student athletes fundamentally so when they get to high school, they are prepared for the agility and speed of the game. Faith West also offers an exceptional off season conditioning program consisting of running, stretching, lifting weights, and agility drills.
