The Speech and Debate Club helps students prepare for Speech, Prose, Poetry, and Lincoln Douglas Debate competitions that take place throughout the Houston and surrounding areas. In addition to competing through Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), our speech and debate team competes in local tournaments sponsored by the Texas Forensics Association and the National Speech and Debate Association. Strong communication skills are vital for success in school and life. This club will provide your child a fun and valuable opportunity to grow and excel.
The Speech and Debate club is open to 9th through 12th grade students. No experience is necessary to join. Any student interested should plan to attend the Speech and Debate Club Boot Camp and the regular meetings during school.
