March 18th – A Message From IT Support

I know this is a trying time for all of us.  We are being tasked with changing our normal behaviors while still ensuring that we meet the demands and requirements of our lives and education for our children.  By now, many of you have already heard from your teachers about how we anticipate navigating the hurdle of remote learning.  We know and anticipate we will learn and adapt as time goes on.  This of course brings many questions with it.

Since there will be an even higher dependency on mobile devices, laptops, internet, and the like, we know you are naturally concerned about how issues with these methods will be handled.  I want to take this moment to assure you that no student will go without help wherever and whenever it is needed.

I will still be keeping normal working hours for as long as I am allowed.  If there are any device issues, please open a ticket under the Student Help Page at   When filling out the support form at the top, please be sure to include an alternate email or cell phone number so we can communicate back.  We will then attempt to assist remotely if possible or schedule a time to meet you at the school for repair or replacement of a device. Please note that during this time getting replacement hardware from Dell or Microsoft will be difficult as most of those parts come from China and so they are in very short supply.  Please remind your child to take very special care of their laptops during this time to protect against cracked screens and broken chargers as much as is possible.  Thank you!

Normally, we do not support personal devices during the school year.  However, we also know that there are some students that have personal devices that will need IT support.  We also know that many of the parents will need help with their devices and may not have access to support from either a local company right now or their normal business office support.  I will be happy to help in any way that I can with any device in your home.

Please be sure to schedule any help you need using the student help page link above.  I want to make sure we are available at the school when you need it and also ensure we don’t have too many congregating at once per all expert suggestions.

We understand the unique challenges that come along with working remotely.  If you need any advice, assistance, or additional support during this transition for you and your child, please let us know and we will be happy to help.  God Bless!
