About Lake West

Lake West offers fabulous summer recreation close to home, including swimming, sand beach, zip lines, and amazing inflatables.

Public Swim

  • $15 per swimmer on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, June 6 through August 11, 2017.
  • Two for the price of one on Tuesdays.
  • $5 entry for any non-swimmer.
  • Children under four are free every day.
  • Cash and checks accepted.
  • Price includes swim vest, swimming, and water inflatables.
  • No outside food or drink is permitted.

Parties and Private Groups

Reservations/Inquiries

  • May 1 through June 5, 2017, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Saturday and Sunday only) – Reservation required. You may bring outside food and drink. Concessions are not available.
  • June 6 through August 11, 2017, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (any day of the week) – Reservation required. You may bring outside food and drink. Concessions are available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during Public Swim.
  • August 12 through October 8, 2017, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Saturday and Sunday only) – Reservation required. You may bring outside food and drink. Concessions are not available.
  • Minimum 25 people per 3-hour party.
  • $12 per person ($300 minimum payment must be made at the time of booking).  Includes swim vests, swimming, and water inflatables.
  • $3 extra per person will include hotdog, chips, and drink.
  • 10′ x 10′ pop-up cover included.

Pavilions

  • You are welcome to bring your own tents and canopies. Lake West has picnic tables that are available at no charge on a first come first served basis.
  • There are three pavilions available for an extra charge. Two 15’x15′ gazebos are available for $50 each and a 50’x50′ pavilion with serving area is available for $300.
  • Tables and chairs are available for an extra charge. 8′ tables are available for $10 each and chairs are available for $2 each (includes setup and tear down).

Restrooms

  • Portable public restrooms are available around lake.

Concessions

Snacks and drinks are for sale daily at the Concession Stand during Public Swim on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We offer hotdogs, chips, candy, drinks, etc.

Fridays are Dollar Dog Days!!!

No outside food or drink and no coolers are permitted.

Lake Rules and Regulations

  • All cars must park in the designated area by the sand volleyball court and softball field.
  • For private parties, the life guards will assist moving your items from your parked car to your party area.
  • Everyone must check in at entry shack and be issued a life vest.
  • No alcoholic beverages or glass containers on premises
  • No motorized vehicles are allowed within park boundaries.
  • Lake West is a no smoking area
  • Lake West closes at 8 pm.
  • All children under 13 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
  • No outside boats or rafts.
  • No pets.
  • Place all trash in provided containers.
  • Life jackets will be worn by everyone at all times.

Swimming

  • All swimmers, regardless of age and swimming ability, must wear a life vest.
  • All children under 13 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
  • No swimming when lifeguard is not on duty.
  • No diving from bulkheads.

Prohibited Activities

  • Remaining in the park after it is closed.
  • Damaging any property.
  • Chasing or disturbing ducks (the ducks are pets).
  • Littering.
  • Igniting fires anywhere other than in the installed metal barbecue facilities.
  • Possession or discharge of a firearm or fireworks.
  • Camping.
  • Any commercial activity.
  • Possession of any glass containers.
  • Consuming or possession of any form of alcohol
  • Any activities that could be a hazard or nuisance to persons using the facilities.
