Weddings

The Faith West facilities can provide both a location for your wedding ceremony and your wedding reception.  The main Worship Center at Faith West seats 300+ people comfortably.  If needed, the balcony area seats an additional 150+ people.  Our Fountain Area accommodates 150+ people for receptions with seating for an additional 75+ people in the Mezzanine . Here are a few wedding picture examples.

Except for cakes, Faith West has catering services if you desire. Faith West will include dishes, tablecloths, punch, coffee, nuts and mints for 200 people along with a reception hostess and personnel to set up and clean up for and extra fee.

Wedding and reception fees depend on the facilities and services provided by Faith West.

Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the Faith West property. Rice, confetti, and flower petals or any other material that might be thrown or dropped at the wedding or reception may NOT be used. Bubbles and balloons are acceptable.

The Reservation Process

To begin the reservation process, please contact the Wedding Coordinator to confirm that your date is available. Reservations will be confirmed as soon as the date is scheduled on the Faith West calendar, and the minister you have chosen has agreed to officiate the ceremony.  If you need one of our ordained staff to officiate the ceremony, you will need to meet with them for wedding counseling. The Wedding Coordinator can help you arrange this meeting.

Though a particular time and date will be reserved for your wedding while you are awaiting confirmation from a minister, please be aware that your confirmation is not complete until a minister has agreed to officiate your wedding.

Wedding Coordinator

Outside wedding coordinators are welcome and will need to work in conjunction with the one provided by Faith West. The Faith West Wedding Coordinator will contact you to confirm the time, date, and location of your rehearsal, wedding, and reception, if applicable. They also will schedule a meeting with you to go over the details of your wedding, including the Order of Service.

Rehearsal

Your wedding rehearsal will be scheduled for two hours on the evening before your wedding date. Your Faith West Wedding Coordinator will be available for your rehearsal. It is very important that all members of your wedding party attend the rehearsal and that they arrive on time. If you have ushers in addition to groomsmen, please ask them to be present at the rehearsal. Parents of the bride and groom are also encouraged to attend.

Flowers and Decorations

Your florist will have access to the room two hours prior to the scheduled time of your wedding. All flowers and decorations must be removed immediately following the wedding ceremony and pictures.

Faith West has some wedding decorations and candelabras, unity candles, or candle lighters.

Votive or drip less candles may be used in hurricane lamps. Aisle candles are permitted in hurricane lamps only.

Informal Weddings

Some people do not want a formal wedding with the full services normally offered. An Informal Wedding best serves these needs.  Different rates and setup are available.

Deposits and Fees

A deposit must be submitted with your wedding reservation. This deposit is not applicable to any fees. Your deposit check will be deposited into the Faith West account and a refund check will be sent back to you after your wedding, unless there is damage to any part of the facilities resulting from your wedding or reception. Please make your check payable to Faith West.

All deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your reservations.
