Who Can Travel?
High school students are welcome and so are junior high (if accompanied by a parent or guardian). Parents, relatives, and friends may also go. This tour includes flights, hotels, all travel, an experienced guide, and all meals with the exception of lunch.
Why Are We Going?
Your child will step outside the classroom and engage with the world firsthand, go beyond their comfort zone and experience new foods, cultures, and people. Having this international experience will also make your child a more competitive college applicant. And, most importantly, this incredible opportunity will help your child navigate new situations with a broader global perspective, build self-confidence, and give them a life changing experience.
Where Are We Going?
We will travel to the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, and England. We will traverse borders and cultures to connect the dots of history on an unforgettable cross-cultural experience. Compare the canals in Amsterdam to those in Venice. Consider the Alps from the perspective of Munich, Innsbruck and Lucerne. Contrast the haute couture of Paris’ Champs-Élysées with the razzle and dazzle of London’s Piccadilly Circus. Language, culture, cuisine – experience it all.
Can’t Go Travel in 2017? How about 2018?
We wanted to extend an invitation to you all to attend our upcoming informational meeting for the Europe trip for the summer of 2018. We are really excited to be offering enrollment for this trip so early in advance. If you are at all interested in the trip and want to hear more about it, as well as learn about some exciting incentives for early enrollment, please attend the meeting on Monday, November 28th in Mrs. Walsh’s classroom- M212. The meeting will be at 3:45 and students are welcome to attend with you. We look forward to talking with you all and hope you have a great Thanksgiving break with your family!
