Annual Walk-A-Thon / Trike-A-Thon

 A Thank You Message to Our Volunteers and Participants!

The Walk-A-Thon and Trike-A-Thon were a huge success. The students raised over $19,000. They exceeded the goal, so the elementary will be having their silly string party on Thursday and preschool will be having a balloon launch. Thank you to all the volunteers from preschool and elementary that helped to make it a great day! We could not do it without your help!

Elementary Walk-A Thon: Our Seventh Annual Walk-A-Thon is scheduled for September 27, 2011.  It is a great way for the FWA students to get out of class, leave campus, walk with some friends, and raise money for Faith West Academy!  Participating kindergarten through fifth grade students will board the bus, ride to Peckham Park in Katy, and walk about one mile.  Afterward, they will enjoy a luscious snow cone.

Preschool Trike-A Thon: On September 29, 2011, our preschool students will enjoy a morning of riding around the south parking lot as they participate in the Trike-A-Thon.  Parents are encouraged to bring their child’s bike and safety protection and watch as these youngsters ride with enthusiasm and raise money for Faith West!
