Baby Shower Fundraiser: The National Honors Society will be holding a school-wide fundraiser February 27th - March 2nd to benefit the Pregnancy Help Center. If you are interested in participating, there will be a playpen in the fountain area for donated baby items and a big baby bottle in the Etc. Office for monetary donations.

Senior Class Valentine Fundraiser: Support the senior class by sending someone you love a candygram or  a  singing telegram!!! Turn in your order forms to the Etc. office by Friday, Febuary 10th, by noon. If you need more order forms, you can get them in the etc. office. more...

Junior Class Fundraiser:  The Brookwood fundraiser has begun.  Purchase flats of plants for your garden and help support the class of 2013 and Brookwood, a God-centered community where people with unique needs and abilities find and share their talents as the live, work, play and learn!  For questions, please email Tiffany Canales at tiff_canales@yahoo.com.   All plant orders and money are due to the Etc. office on or before February 22.  more...

Sadie Hawkins Dance: The Sadie Hawkins Dance is on Saturday, February 25 from 8:00 p.m. until midnight.  Come dressed as a famous couple, such as Beauty & The Beast, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Romeo & Juliet, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Fred & Wilma, or Peter Parker & Mary Jane. Spelling Bee Champ: The top Faith West Academy speller for the school-level, HoustonPBS Spelling Bee was sixth grader, Jess Taberner, son of Nita and Mike Adam.  In the 10th and Championship Round, the winning word was irritability.   Jess Taberner will advance to the private school district competition for Harris County Private Schools Spelling Bee in February. more...

Recycle With Us For a Clean Earth and Brighter Future: Please help our 8th grade students raise money for their trip to Washington DC.  If you have any of these items around the house, don’t throw them away, bring them up to Faith West and drop them off in the ETC. office.  We will be accepting items until February 3, 2012.

Annual Fund Drive: As the year comes to a close, we want to remind you to consider Faith West Academy for your end of the year charitable contributions. Maybe you have a heart for the Science Department, or you want to bless the teachers with a Document Camera, or maybe you feel led to help pay for the numerous air conditioners that are needing to be replaced this year. 7th and 8th Grade Washington DC Trip:  If you are interested in having your 7th or 8th grade student participate in the Washington, DC trip on June 10-15, 2012, please contact Tracie Golden at tgolden@faithwest.org.

Faith West Spirit Store:  The Spirit Store is open on Friday mornings from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in the Eagles Nest and during all home FWA Varsity football games.  You can always shop online at the Spirit Store.

PTO School Store:  The PTO School Store is open on Friday mornings from 7:30-8:15 a.m. in the fountain area.
