MATH: Students may accelerate to above grade level classes if they meet FWA criteria.

*Note: honors and pre-AP math classes use the same textbooks as on-level classes, but these classes are taught at a faster pace and with emphasis on more difficult problems.

SCIENCE: Both on-level and honors and/or Pre-AP classes use the same textbooks for grades 7-12, with the exception of 8th grade (see below). Honors and Pre-AP classes move at a faster pace, have more independent work, and require more computation and/or dimensional analysis.
